How can I choose the right printing speed and right UV printer?
We offer four types of passes for you to choose from. You can select 2-pass, 4-pass, 6-pass, or 8-pass according to your required printing accuracy. A Pass means one print head scanning stroke over the media. The corresponding printing speed can be adjusted directly in our supporting software.
2-pass: Highest speed, suitable for mass production with general printing quality
4-pass: Balanced speed and print quality, the most commonly used setting
6-pass: Higher print definition, ideal for fine graphics and small text
8-pass: Maximum printing accuracy, ideal for high-end, delicate artwork
All modes support one-click switching within our printing software. You can tailor the settings to various materials, including rigid boards and roll media with different coatings. The appropriate print mode should be selected based on the specific application rather than speed alone. Factors such as material type, artwork complexity, required resolution, and production volume should all be considered.
