This video demonstrates basic Photoshop image editing operations for UV printing, including image import, mode adjustment, resizing and white background spot color setting.

- Launch the Adobe Photoshop CS4 software.
- Locate the File (F) tab in the top-left corner, then left-click it and select Open (O) from the drop-down menu.
- Find the image to be printed, left-click to select it, then right-click on it in the bottom-right area and choose Open.
- After the image is opened, left-click the Image (I) tab in the top-left corner. Navigate to Mode and select CMYK Color (C), then choose 8 Bits/Channel (A) in the sub-option.
- Image Rotation (Optional): Left-click the Image (I) tab in the top-left corner and select Image Rotation (G). Note: Skip this step if the image does not need rotation.
- Image Resizing: Left-click the Image (I) tab in the top-left corner and select Image Size (I). In the pop-up window, check the boxes for Scale Styles and Constrain Proportions in the bottom-left corner. Adjust the required Width and Height under the Document Size section, then click OK.
- White Background Spot Color (Optional): Left-click the Magic Wand Tool (the 4th tool in the toolbar located below the top-left corner). Move the cursor to the area of the image that needs a white background and left-click—the tool will automatically select similar areas and mark them with dotted lines. Navigate to the Channels Panel and create a new spot channel. Note: Skip this step if a white background is not required.
- After completing the image editing, left-click the File (F) tab in the top-left corner and select Save As (A) to save the image. Choose the TIF format for preservation.
